I am no trader either and my interpretations of spreads are guesses. To me there have been days recently where it was very clear that a 5-10 spread was intentional and even imposed when there was some volume. Zto me I read that as they was to stop the buying. Logically, who would buy at 75 cents if they know those selling can only get 65 cents? One would think that the ask will come down.

So, this tight spread, in my limited understanding tells me we have leveled out and that the interest in pushing it down farther had dissipated. And, now, we are testing the waters to see if there there is some buying interest.

Is that how you are reading it??
