I have periodically sold some of my position in the last few weeks in 50K increments....these usually get purchased relatively quickly with a limit order on the sale and the full share amount purchased (no minimum quantities were stipulated).
For a company that appears dead someone is buying quantities that come available. Alcar's phone and fax lines still work and their website is still active after nearly 5 months of apparent inactivity with the company....somone appears to be paying the bills (even though they would be insignificant but why throw any money at it?).
For the time being, I am planning on holding my remaining shares to see the outcome but thought the above shows some faint glimmer of hope.
