If you knew what you are speaking. the mark-up is the difference between th cost of goods and the selling price of the goods. if an item costs $1.00 and you markup 10% that means you sell it for $1.10. Do you really think Hacketts could be around over 100 years working on a 10% mark-up. Impossible!!
Ido agree that their NET PROFIT could vey well be 10% which means that on sales including Wisebuys and Hacketts of 40-50mil that the net profit, which means after all expenses are paid, products, utilities, salaries, bonuses taxes etc would be. could be 4-5million after EVERYTHING IS PAID!!
