I'm afraid I was there a lot sooner than you. I lived in Kelly Barracks for a short period in 1971 before we moved to RB. My father was the commander of the army band. It was VII corps head quarters then, I don't know what it is now.

Patch was USERAR (sp?) back then, I went there frequently too.

In those days there were 300,000 americans in Germany

I liked Stuttgart. I went back in 1993 and it was completely different. I'm going back next summer.
