I received an answer to Reznor's question concerning DVFA shares not yet converted by ChoiceTrade and other brokers.

Hi MaryKate,

The answer given from the broker is probably correct..There isn't a time line to which a broker has to convert to new shares and is dependant upon the DTC and actual accounting of cert in circa...However, most cases these issues get resolved in days no more than 5 days.

Some of the issues why it takes time is also due to the amount of shares that are shorted or NSS at time of conversion and numbers are not represented or deemed correct..At times, when a new cuspid is issued, whether R/S or just symbol change, has to reflect the actual accounting of shares by the DTC and brokers having to matched the same..At times, the broker and has been a problem with CMKX, of which you may have noticed that some folks haven't received cert after all this time..This is very apparent on the huge NSS issue that some brokers have gotten themselves into and were not able to provide accurate accounting where shares were issued that could not be delivered. In other words, selling more shares above the current allowable issued and thus certs can't be issued.

Not sure on this particular issue, but pretty certain it will get resolved, not like CMKX which is still a real issue, albeit not trading, but certainly still being gossiped about. lol

In closing, it has all to do with shares held by brokers and accounting matching the TA and DTC..

Have a good day
