WilliamFL - have you checked with your Etrade account recently to see if they have kept it in a cash account and not tried to switch it back to a margin account? Some good news with the impending elimination of the grandfather clause could cause some serious pain for the shorts - a powerful motive for the brokerages to fiddle with GTEM cash/margin accounts, IMO.
