You have to understand that liberals are much better 'informed' than conservatives. They get their news from MSNBC (they adore Keith Olbermann), NBC, CBS, ABC, Washington Post, and New York Times. These media sources take great care that any news that might offend liberal sensitivities is excluded. When a media upstart such as Fox News dares to present politically incorrect facts, they are demonized. It simply would not do to expose liberals with these kinds of ads. In their minds, the troops are opposed to the war and want to come home (well certainly some do, but many are prepared and willing to serve their country).
Liberals decry the lives of American soldiers lost, and say they want to bring them home so more won't be lost. Others of us want the troops to stay so the sacrifices will not have been in vain.
Liberals say they care about our troops, but if you read all of the posts here, you will see that many look condescendingly upon our soldiers, implying that they are ignorant members of the underclass, recruited into the military as their only option for sustenance. In fact, most of the posters here seem to feel that America is the real enemy, not necessarily the people, they will say, but our government and our corporations. And yet, they stamp their feet and recite one hundred times a day, we are smarter and better informed than everyone else. Their posts are powerful testimony to the contrary.
