I just read an article that said that homocysteine causes arterial inflammation. This inflammation is the causative factor in plaque formation. The treatment is vitamin B. The vitamin deficiency can be cause by an under active thyroid gland (not to mention diabetes). If this is true, DNAP should be looking at thyroid glandular problems!
