But the architectural choices followed the success they were having and what is better than a follow on with continuity? After all, these decisions are made not knowing a lot of what will happen...

Worse yet, was the decision to go for >30% of the market, something that will be etched in the history pages, when you don't have the capability and technology to fight someone 10X larger. Full frontal confrontation was the ONE thing you don't want to do with Intel (I remember the training...) ^_^

But even having made these errors, I still can't understand why they didn't go for financing/stock issue at 42 when they had the chance... Now, I'm not sure that even a niche market strategy would work...
