This is a great catharsis for me Susie. This morning (8-25) I had to get up at 4:30 am, go to work and shoot video for my department at a Mayoral health walk.. I WAS supposed to be the main camera, just standing around drinking coffee and stuffing my face with supplied donuts.
WRONG! I was the walking cam, all 3 MILES in the rain... my wireless mic shorted, I lost my lens cap.Then I slipped and rammed my shin into a railing and limped the rest of the way... I was given the wrong location and missed a shot .... on top of everything else ... there wasn't any DONUTS or food!! All the participants end of race food and drink was locked in a area of the mall and no one got any goodies promised. And there was no coffee left either.... the people were great, their event went off without problem except for the rain and food...but my experience SUCKED.
I could not find a reason why all the crap happened to me, until I realized ... It was all SUSIE"S fault ... How simple. I really do feel better.
Now, if you can only do something for this black and blue football sized lump on my leg.
