I haven't delved much into researching the BOCX patents and am wondering if they have submitted for any patents that cover a specific method of (drug) delivery using AFP and the AFP receptor. I seem to remember Dr. Moro discussing some of the technical issues he was encountering in working on the therapeutics aspect (from the Erthang interview, I think). Do you think he has perhaps developed a better delivery system than some of the other companies trying to use the receptor for AFP?

It seems likely that BOCX's claim that RECAF is only present on cancer cells cannot be taken literally. Constab's comment seems more accurate. Dr. Moro has already implied that there is a "background" level of RECAF that could be used as a baseline for personalizing the RECAF test. Either that means that everyone has some amount of cancer cells in them at any given time, or it means that there are other cells that express RECAF (albeit, in very small amounts).
