Opportunity, Dr. Moro does not have a patent on RECAF because RECAF is no longer patentable. He does have a patented method of detecting RECAF. As I pointed out last year, anyone that wants to use RECAF for anything can do it. As for the therapeutics using RECAF, I have also seen no patent applications from Dr. Moro but I have seen several patent applications from others and one issued patent. They usually don't readily say RECAF but you can easily determine if they are working with sugars, they are using RECAF. Constab is the only one specifically stating they are using the AFP receptor.
