In all my years of playing the stock market that is just about the goofiest idea I have heard. There is no way to address the minority and majority,short and long time shareholders other than by reverse splitting. Eventually the minority shareholders are frozen out unless they increase their investment.
There is a fair way and that would be to purchase shares on the open market and put them in treasury stock to be spent at a later date for acquisitions, expansions, and that sort of thing.
