I just spoke with Mr. Gunther Slaton. After getting only the VM at the New Jersey number, I called the Illinois number (847-679-5076), and a lady answered. I presumed she was Sally Engel. I introduced myself and told her that I had some questions about the company, and she said that she would transfer me to the person who would be better qualified to answer me. Mr. Slaton then came on the line.

Regarding the change of GSIEF to a Nevada domicile and merging with a shell, he said that the PR had just been written up and is being vetted by their lawyer and that they should be releasing it within the next few days.

Silar Capital Group is still with them.

I asked whether the sub-prime mortgage debacle has affected their business outlook, and he said "yes, in a positive way." He went into some details about how banks that don't want to deal with the sub-prime mortgage "BS" are now coming to them because of their business model.

He apologized for not having been able to return my calls because they have been extremely busy.
