Since you are repeatedly pointing back to your own message saying:

Looks to me, like intel is once again using the same method to drive the market away from the previous technology to the newer one that it's used before.

While I, as a potential customer, do not particularly look forward to being driven by anyone anywhere, maybe you can tell me what it is buying Intel, compared to previous Intel product and process technology transitions. You can speak in terms of performance, power consumption, capacity. Which one of these is of greatest significance, and how does this transition differ from previous in achieving its objectives.
