As I posted elswhere, I think AMD screwed up on pricing of the 8xx line. I don't think there should be any premium for 8xx line over 2xx line, or to put it differently, I don't think 2xx line should exist, and 8xx line should be there at 2xx prices. The fact that someone will order 4 CPUs is the premium in extra sales that AMD will get for offering such a flexible CPU.

Maybe at some point the pricing could be revisited (from parity between 2xx and 8xx line) when AMD has a substantial chunk of the 4 way market...
