Not to get too off-topic, but ...

The vast majority of doctor's are more than fairly compensated. As a complete spectrum, they're at least a couple of standard deviations away from the median salary earned in the US.

There are just as many professions that do comparable years of training yet receive a fraction of the remuneration that doctors receive.
