I went to a mall in Doha this past year, and that was a very nice set up, pretty Westernized as well. Doha is building up real big, it seems the Middle East want to encourage tourism more then discourage. The area down by the bay, was rip with new very very tall hotels being built. This was all being done before the Asia Games in Decmeber and they continue to grow---guess some one sees a future in this area.
