You have to understand that back in the day, this was one VERY active board, so yes, off topic posts, even harmless ones were deleted.

As it stands now, if I were to delete EVERY off topic post, you would be seeing the tumbleweeds rolling by. At least now, there is a wee bit of activity. Although any hope for getting anything out of QBID is slim to none. And slim just took the bus.
