This analyst doesn't sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Maybe he's not but they're the ones who are rating the stock. Here's a couple more comments:

"On the conference call management did not even confirm "hundreds of thousands" of Athlon 64 units but instead backed off of that assertion and said we're pleased with where we are on Athlon 64." - Clark Westmont, Smith Barney

"It's one thing when I'm not too enthusiastic about how many Hammers will get sold the next few quarters, but when the AMD execs aren't either, that ought to tell you something." - Ed Stroligo, Overclockers.com
