Can't help but jump in on your bar bet. The Kentucky Derby is won by a Thoroughbred which is not a pony. Some times a pony will walk a Thoroughbred to the starting gate or warm up with the Colt, Gelding or Filly. Every Thoroughbred's birthday is January 1st. Congratulation's if you got paid for the bar bet.
