analystslie,
Sure looks like anyone who decided to get out today did so with a nice gain from the lows of a few weeks back.
Can't blame anyone who took profit, after all, with all the doom and gloom about "crazy 8's," some who got in at .095-.10 probably wanted to bank a little cash.
And Todd, what you fail to realize is that this deal takes the entire "debt obligation" away from Sequiam. This is now Nick's PERSONAL RISK. The deal is now between NICK, not SQUM, and the people who purchased Biometrics LLC from Nick.
And as for reducing space, my thought on that is with so much activity going on with larger companies, perhaps some of the work is being done by the big boys, with the materials supplied by SQUM. Remember, Sequiam doesn't make the product...They make the product biometric. So perhaps in the interest of further cash flow improvements, general savings, and egos left at the door (unlike Jimmy Plant), the gang at Sequiam felt they could be just as productive without having to work out of a mansion.
Analystslie, indeed this was an awesome week for SQUM longs, SQUM management, and those considering a position who were concerned about the deal with Biometrics LLC. That is no longer an issue. Nick's gotta deal with it, and the only way that benefits him is if the company succeeds. I've posted the sharecount, so until/unless those warrants ever are exercised, the number is what the NON-GAGGED TA says it is.
Can't wait to see how these changes reflect on their outlook for Q3 and Q4.
And as far as a financial crisis, seen it happen in many companies. Microsoft, Intel, they all have it, but had the resources to bounce back. Of course, those lesser companies that shock you with sudden crises, like NFI did as I recall reading about, can really put you in a pickle. At least here, we all had access to the same knowledge, knew what the risk and reward were and could be. Again, that transparency. Something to be said when Nick takes the burden of everything away from the company and on to himself.
IMO/FWIW
