Zim Corp., a technology company owned by Michael Cowpland, said sales fell 24 per cent to $538,027 in the first quarter ending in June, compared to a year earlier as messaging service revenues fell. Sales of ringtones also declined, but stronger profit margins helped the company cut losses by 83 per cent to $97,397. The company said it will need to raise money to finance losses, but believes a $470,000 line of credit provided by Mr. Cowpland will be sufficient.
