CoMedia Corporation Expects Rapid Growth During the Holiday Season
66 minutes ago - BusinessWire

CoMedia Corporation's (Pink Sheets:CMTN) core business ReQuest Distribution (Re-Q) and America Football Alumni ("AFA") are preparing for the fall and Holiday seasons. The launch of AFA's "Grass Roots" marketing campaign and national tour begins August 23, 2007 and coincides with the start of football season, as well as the beginning of the Christmas selling season for Re-Q. The coming four month period is expected to produce a high level of business activity throughout CoMedia's operations.

Stephen White, CoMedia's President stated, "The launch of the AFA city to city tour will introduce our company to millions of people. With over 225 million tickets sold to high school football games alone and with 20 million former players and coaches we know we are addressing a very sizeable market. The tour along with the retail presence provided by ReQuest will provide the platform for introducing our company and our merchandise to a large market segment. Mr. White added, "We believe the combination of face to face contact at a "Grass Roots" level in over 100 cities, with a strong retail presence and the launch of our digital marketing program through our social networking web site www.11on11.com, is the key to creating the rapid expansion of our business model."

Mr. Clive Fox, President of Re-Q, stated, "Re-Q will add AFA merchandise to its traditional audio line which will be distributed through our big box retail channels. This will include a series of sports related music CD's and DVDs produced by CoMedia Productions for AFA, as well as specialty clothing items targeting football players and coaches. Mr. Fox added, "We are continuing to see a very strong demand for our current line of audio products with sales this year already hitting $800,000 and the full Christmas season still to come. In addition to the 8 current Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys, we plan the release an additional 16 titles for fall and Christmas 2007 and into 2008. Because of the success of our Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys audiobook series we are offering Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys audiobooks for download through a new digital distribution network."

Curtis Watts, President of AFA, stated, "AFA's tour will travel through the contiguous 48 states, reaching over 100 cities prior to December 8th 2007 with the main goal of accelerating the growth of our membership base. The state by state, city by city tour is being implemented to augment our digital marketing efforts. However, a true social network based fraternal organization needs more than a web site to meet the needs of its members. In addition to our event opportunities in the cites that we visit, we will reach million of residents through the utilization of the many public relations opportunities represented by the 100's of local newspapers, radio and TV stations available to us. Our multi-pronged approach will accelerate the recognition of our organization, rapidly building awareness and potentially create 100,000's of new members this fall alone."

Mr. Watts went on to add, "The AFA goal is to meet as many former coaches and players as possible. We want to introduce the benefits of membership in AFA which reach well beyond the shared experience. AFA will offer its members important life services such as our insurance programs tailored to families of players and former players and other exclusive services such as travel services offered by the Players and Coaches Association (PACA). By knowing our members, we are better able to bring them value which in turn will drive the success of our organization and our business model."
