COLOMBIA MINING 2007 – the 3rd International Mining Show will be held in Medellín, Colombia from September 19 to 21, 2007. This is brought to you by the Government of Antioquia, the Asomineros Chamber of the ANDI (National Association of Industrialists of Colombia), and the National University of Colombia, with the support of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, UPME, Ingeominas, and the Canadian Embassy.

Colombian Jewelry 2007

Contacts and Business Meeting

Many exhibitions (mining companies, equipment, machinery, and consultant companies)



This event will bring together both national and international mining industries, jewelers, mining service providers, and suppliers of machinery and equipment. It is an opportunity to interact with recognized national and international mining experts and Ministers from the Colombian Government, to discuss topics such as investment prospects in the mining and jewelry sectors. We expect approximately 900 participants to attend the 13th Colombian Mining Congress and the Contacts and Business Meeting. Overall, we expect over 6000 visitors to the Show.



It is a pleasure to invite you to participate in “Colombia Mining 2007 - III International Mining Show.” The event will take place in the Plaza Mayor in Medellin Colombia on September 19 to 21 2007.



Objectives



To promote and enhance the mining sector in Colombia, in order to support the expansion and development of the production, technological, economic and environmental sectors. This will create a safer and more attractive atmosphere to both local and foreign investors.



To showcase the main mining projects in Colombia by providing the basic geological, mining and infrastructure information about them. This is along with the aim to encourage investment in mining projects, both domestic and internationally.


To structure a set of mining projects to be presented to foreign investors.


To create proper spaces for mining and jewelry negotiations.

To show the economic benefits of the mining project development in the country.



To benefit from the event by holding an exhibition of equipment, raw material and heavy machinery used in the mining and jewelry sector, as well as to provide information about mining service providers and consultant companies.
