Wow. On the one hand they are supposed to be smart enough to engineer high tech vehicles, but they are so dumb that the ONLY way they can design for women is to dress up like one??? They wouldn't be able to process a memo, they had to wear a skirt cause Mary Sipes told them too.
I'm so happy Mary can buy her SUV and use the retractable running boards. Meanwhile I've been trying to find a comfortable driver's seat for decades. More than 50 percent may enjoy the retractable running boards (doubtful), but lots more than 50 percent would rather have a seat that isn't one size fits all. If any of the designers were larger than Mary, making them wear a skirt isn't going to change things for them.
Keep the running boards, purse bin, easy lift gate and fix the seats, pedals and give me a racing steering wheel with a flat bottom, because I'm the one dealing with it when the car is driven. Instead I'll bet Mary gets a promotion. Those designers must be shuddering in their cubes thinking about what other ideas might pop into Mary's head.
