.... i would guess 99% of what is shorted offshore is directed toward the 99% of penny stocks that are crap & deserve to be shorted into oblivion. shorting of stocks is extremely beneficial overall. of course, the shorters are the essense of evil to any company, or holders of shares thereof, that is of itself in a downward spiral.

toxic funders, loan sharks, etc. is a whole other animal.

& i assumed ss was speaking of sec rules.

had a little time to kill so thought i'd generate an argument for the heck of it.
