When Walmart started their moves into the smaller cities many thought it was great ! Lower prices , Big pretty stores. Definitly worth the drive for most (at least at first when gas was cheap! Now they spend their savings in higher gas prices)
The smaller cities and towns around these new locations felt the punch! Some almost look like ghost towns now!
With very few stores that could survive , this gave no chose to the locals on where to shop and hang out,
With having to drive the extra miles for even the most basic needs for many years now , I think their fed up! But , they did it to themselves with regreat now.
I think it's time for these communities to have a chose again.
With the 177 years of experiance that Hackets has in surviving in these communities and the team with Wisebuys having the exsperiance in larger chain retail, it seems to be the perfect fit to take on this challenge.
This is no doubt , a ground floor opportunity ,JIMHO
I think given the chance for these communities to bring back what they lost several years ago , the trend will reverse itself and you will see this movement prevail!
