You can make excuses all day long. Keep blaming GW. What you are saying is EDIG had this feature, but a bunch of folks sitting at GW decided that making the songs play in the right order was a bad idea and had them take it out?? Do you really believe that??

Even so, isn't EDIG supposed to be the experts here. When GW told EDIG they don't want the songs to play in order, didn't EDIG suggest to GW, that based on their expertise, the customers might want to play the songs in order? Or do you think EDIG suggested it but just didn't have enough credibility to sway GW's decision?

If another OEM sends over specs for a player with no headphone jack, will EDIG just build it that way? Or will they use their expertise to convince them that with out a headphone jack the player my fall short of customer expectations?

In your zeal to be an apologist for EDIG, you have reduced them to the role of order taker. Take the specs from the customer and pass them directly to the manufacturer with no review or suggestions for improvement. That does not bode well for EDIG getting future OEMs to pay for their expertise in this area.

All that know-how at EDIG and GW didn't allow them to use it?? GW made them take one of the most wanted features off the product and there was nothing EDIG could do about it!!! Kind of sad and blows the whole EDIG business model doesn't it?

ps- chwdr don't get so mad just because your daughter found out the O1000 was a POS and told you so, you had to have known that all along, right?
