I believe you are going to see some fairly rapid development of the lawsuit in the coming weeks. The original complaint filed by GDVM and Nexus has just fallen apart at the seams and now the only issue is who will be able to defend the counterclaim and get off without having to forfeit a majority of their assets.

The interesting thing here is that the counter defendants will likely start accusing one another. I have always believed this lawsuit would be an easy win. We will see if I am right in the end, but my opinion is now that it will be easier than I originally thought. I think the only real problem we might have is finding and seizing assets before Briner is able to hide them.

Continental, however has no easy way out and they have a big insurance bond up for grabs. I know they had little or nothing to do with the problem, but they bought West Coast from the Briner Gang and with it came any liabilities West Coast might have had. Maybe Continental will look a lot closer at the next acquisition they make because West Coast is likely to have cost them a small fortune.
