eBay has had four stock splits since going public.
The first split was a 3 for 1 stock split which occurred on March 2, 1999 at the open of the market. The second split was a 2 for 1 stock split which occurred on May 25, 2000 at the open of the market. The third split was a 2 for 1 which occurred on August 29, 2003 at the open of the market. The fourth split was a 2 for 1 which occurred on February 17, 2005 at the open of the market.
so $17/2/2/2/3 still puts it around 70 cents per share
i guess we're potentially getting the best deal ever on spooz :D
all my opinions, not investment advice
God grant me the serenity to deal with the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can and should; and wisdom to know the difference.
