Probably margin call or some stop limit orders were triggered. Can't believe we can get SAM at this price. Gold suppose to go to 1000 if we have a meltdown.
BTW, my holding MLY worked out well. I was able to sell MLY at small loss to buy other metals at steal price today! Also bought LBE, FNI and BMC at the close.

Buy cheap, undiscovered stocks!
