Several times I have read your post concerning the effects of negativity on message boards on the SP of AMEP as well as other posts on the same subject. I don't think we disagree on the cause of the negativity. But the question is whether we should post our negativity and thereby discourage potential buyers or holders.

When the PRE14 came out we had the drop which you called "market reaction" to the RS proposal. By the way, did you notice the increase in volume preceeding the DEF14 announcement?

Don't you think the initial "market reaction" was tempered by the PR that was issued before the market opened June 11th after the DEF14 was posted Friday the 8th? I know my thought was that now we will see additional PRs that will negate the effect of the RS, but two months have passed and no more production news.

There was also hope that the PRE14 would be amended but now that doesn't seem likely.

But then when the DEF14 came out early July we had the big sell off, comparitively speaking. What was the "market reaction" to the DEF14 making the RS more of a reality?

Also, at the same time we have the shareholder letter that confirmed that Charles' preferreds would not be split and that some positive posts that declared otherwise (i believe quoting JC)were not true. I'm confident that this also contributed to a drop in the SP?

So I think we must contribute the drop in SP, caused by the RS, to more than the initial market reaction.

I know personally that the positive posts that turn out to be false are more detrimental (negative) to my decision to buy or hold than the obvious rantings and ravings of the bashers.
