Yes, Earthfirst owns that technology -- they call it NextGas. Dr. Santilli personally copyrighted the name Magnegas and kept it after he and Earthfirst split. All work on the project done by Dr. Santilli was done while employed to do so by EFTI. All the patents, likewise. So both EFTI and Ruggiero own an interest.

As to why it matters, JMHO, it doesn't. There is little or no cash value and the development dollars aren't there to make it worthwhile.

I could go on for hours (as usual) but since I was drawn into the lawsuit between EFTI and Roger, I'd rather let it sleep.
