Linchuck, If you have ever played with a Tinker Toy set or the like, you can build a computer. All the tools you need are a small Phillips and needlenose pliers.
My current system cost about $200 and is equilivent to the $700 systems they are selling today.

Have you seen some of those sci fi shows where they are pushing holographic buttons in mid air? We'll live to do that.
