Oh, but there is !! There is something meaningful and effective that you can do. You can write a sane letter (perhaps eMail) to your US Congressman and your US Senators. They have no idea that this is occurring. They also wouldn't imagine the magnitude of the problem even if they have "heard about" the way that MMs manipulate stocks.

The MarketMakers do play tricks, we all know that and if you have L2 and watch carefully you may see things that are hard to believe. They will sell a few shares below the ask (tiny blocks) just to cause the price to dip (investors don't sell $2 worth of stock at a time) and eventually some of the private investors begin to sell at that price. The people who don't have L2 don't know how much was sold, they only know that the latest price is down, and then down again, so they panic, exactly as the MMS want them to. Then the MMs can buy the shares and sell them higher later. They hide sales until after the bell to not allow volume to display and then let it go after-hours, (Millions of shares) ...they cause upticks to be erased after they have already appeared on Level 2 charts, ...all kinds of tricks (THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL) and can cause an upward run to not only stall, but die and reverse so that they can make money themselves.

Not only these things, but they also sell shares that they don't own (sell them short) and do NOT intend to ever cover them. (Naked Short) Hundreds of millions, ...Billions of shares of this and that, …flooding the float pool with counterfeit shares and diluting the value of every corporation on the board. (As well as diluting the value of our portfolio)

Trading today would not be the risk that it is without the thieves who control the market. A simple supply and demand system would work well, and should be implemented but in 1932 (I think it was) a system was devised to prevent radical swings in the market, of the kind that allowed the market to crash in 1929. The so-called Market Makers were placed in the pipeline as governors and a sort of pressure relief valve in the flow of trading. A the time, they were men of integrity who took their responsibility seriously, I'm sure, but over time the opportunity of using their position to their advantage to make some money by manipulating just a bit in the direction that would benefit a buy or sell that they themselves were involved in, ...was tempting. Then came the electronic era when computers managed everything and with the touch of the enter key, transactions were completed instantly. Volume increased to the point where it became so easy to side-track certain transactions and brokers could transfer blocks of stock amongst themselves ...back and forth so easily and silently that they have learned how to manipulate the system and the market to the tune of billions and billions of dollars per year which are siphoned off into personal accounts by diluting the market, and covering their tracks rather than covering their shorts. ...and this is certainly not a victimless crime, although it is a faceless one.

Why is it that WRNW continues to flounder in a mind-numbing decrease in PPS when all of the investors and all of the indicators suggest that this should be the stock of the decade, (??) BECAUSE, while the Outstanding Shares are fixed at 562,000,000 ...there are probably in reality 1.5 Billion shares in the float, …2/3 of them being counterfeit shares. My wife and I own over 1% of that company (...in certified shares), but whenever shares are sold, and the number averages a hundred million per week, where do we suppose those shares are coming from?? They should be coming from my account or the account of someone with certified shares (order the certificates) ...but instead they are often "sold" by the broker (MM) who doesn't own any and will NOT be covering that "short." It will be a never-covered naked short and the dilution continues. The value of all commodities on the planet (Except under communist or socialist rule) is regulated by a simple supply and demand. In the case of WRNW, (BUNM, etc. etc.) the supply is ever increasing whenever there is a demand. That means that the value decreases as the supply is increased. How to eliminate the counterfeit shares, which are floating amongst the certified ones, is the issue at hand. Not an easy problem to solve. But when WRNW moves to the OTCBB, something will be done. I wrote to the CEO recently and he then released a PR indicating that the move would be soon.

Only if the congress of the United States becomes enraged by how rampant the conspiracy has become, will anything change, ...before it's too late and this practice of internal corruption takes the entire stock market system to it's knees and destroys it and the economy that it supports. It's serious and it's huge.

...BUNM, is in the middle of it, as is WRNW, etc., etc., etc..

Write somebody, or just copy/paste some of this post or the post of others concerning this issue to your elected officials. DO SOMETHING about this !! The Brokers will IGNORE ALL of the latest regulations and attempts to force them to cover their naked shorts unless the heat and the spotlight is applied NOW. They have been stealing money for a long time and do not want to stop doing it.
