CUBIC ZARCONIA...
I'm maxed out on my gold quota with CEF.
MY future spectulation on MATERIALS is
the Cubic Zarconia. I'll be the first
to admit that I know next to NOTHING
about the stuff with ONE exception...
U.C.Davis, just last month, announced
that they had just found a way to make
fuel cells that usually opporate @ 1500
to 2000 degrees run @ UNDER 200 !!!
That, IMO, is kin to Edison bringing
LIGHT to a veyr dark world.
They use a nano type CZ that makes that
cooling possible...I've yet to have time
to dd this and I have not heard back
from UCDavis on who they have lined up to
market this new break through, but it's
coming.
We HAVE to get the Arabs off our back...
EVENTUALLY.
I think it was the U of Michigan that just
announced THEY had impoved solar effeciency
from less than 5% to over 40%...no small
gain, IMO. Solar HAS been exploding lately
on all levels too...
