Gravel and Sand costs less than $15 per ton in Germany. I don't think Poland is any different.
Why would a Polish company pay $44 per ton plus a huge amount of shipping charges? Even if they had no gravel in Poland, they could get it much cheaper from Germany.
Aggregate never gets shipped long distance because the freight costs more than the product.
The PR says it gets shipped to Poland. Does not make sense.
RB told me PBLS had an advantage over the other pit in New Orleans because the other pit is 7 miles further. NOw it is supposed to be shipped to another continent.
Makes no sense.

These are retail prices, not wholesale. If you need a few tons, that is how much it costs. Wholesale would be even less.
