Yes, I got the "stuff". For some reason, I can't get it to burn? Just kidding. Much as I feel for him, the rugrat hates the stuff. Even though we try to add some water, he takes about 5 breaks to get the entire meal down. Actually that is good since he usually hogs his food down. Still giving him a mix of science diet until he gets used to the Petsmart food. For some reason though, now he is constantly hungry? I read on the PS food he can have 2 cups a day since he is 34 lbs? Does that sound right?
On a side note, I contacted Dinovite and asked them if they considered making the stuff in a tablet form (like pet tabs) so that dogs will think it's a treat. I even gave them a link on Ebay for 2 tablet making machines so they could experiment. The manual was 1oo bucks, and the electric was about a grand. His wife wrote me back about how to encourage/feel/deceive/trick him to eat it, but never commented on the tabs. Being the carpenter I am, I made a prototype in the garage to press tablets, but the stuff was to dry. Didn't cost me but a few minutes, so no big deal.
I do appreciate all the help and information though. Just like PBLS. He is going to get what's coming to him like it or not. lol
We might get some rain here in MD after months or drought. Bring it on!!!
