The first time AVGI came up in my dealings with the company, Malcolm was steadfast in his view that the company was not obligated to AVGI. He expressed two reasons.

First, it was a different CEO that entered into the agreement and Malcolm having not been a part of the process felt like he was somehow expempt from honoring the deal. Why? How? I don't know. Does it make any sense from a legal or professional point of view? NO!

Second, and this was echoed by LW, the company viewed AVGI's project as foolishly unsophisticated. The exact words were something like Cyotgenix is too good of a company to associate with company trying to cure shrimp. Cytogenix is on the verge of becominging internationally known for this great break through and they thought they were too good to do business with AVGI.

Truth, Cytogenix has no ability to meet the demands of any purchase orders. The lab isn't capable of producing anything other than research quantities of ssDNA.

My opinion, money is money. If your in the business of selling ssDNA, then sell it. Generate an income stream, show financials with real revenue, build corporate value bringing large pharma buyers to the table seeking to purchase the company or invest in the company before the company makes enough money to no longer need investor capital.

My two cents, Malcolm is more interested in winning the Nobel Prize and being honored than in anything else including doing whas best for the company. What do you expect from a CEO that comes to work at 10:30 takes two hours for lunch and leaves at 3?
