At the risk of being excesivly...chatty.
After all, I just re-subed up, but going
through these listes was something I used
to look forward to everyday. I realize
the focus of this list is on very small
cap stocks that can be cheaply leveraged...
I've always believed the basic principles
that apply here are....universal. It's
a text book study of supply and demand.
SURE, it's NOT perfect, no 'system' ever
is...those pinkies can kill ya even if you
have a majik wand !
BUT, I enjoyed running the numbers on all
of the s-8 companies...I think of it as
fishing...sure...I may be AFTER trout,
but does that mean your going to throw
all the SALMON BACK ???
CNST and RADN, on casual yahoo/Stockshare
scaning of this nights list, these two
caught my eye for future plunder.
I can't figure out WHY RADN had to S-8..
didn't read their filing yet, their numbers
look pretty good to me...And...
CNST....though beat up and bleeding looks
like it might be one to whatch closely after
the s-8 takes it's toll...they are making
the right moves now to fix things. This
might end up being a nice global defensive
play down the road...we are always going to
WANT STUFF and stuff comes in STUFF.
ALL THIS got me thinking...what criteria do
you use for selecting 'worthy' companies to
track...death spirals are hopless....AND..
who makes the choice.
I'm new enough AGAIN to be clueless...though
I have to say...what I miss most about the
swamp isn't the gators, or the snakes, or
even the blood thirsty BUGS...it's the wading
around...to find the jewel in the muck.
It makes ya feel like CAPTAN JACK...but
with good teeth !

PS...In fact, I've wondered why this 'float'
analysis can't be used on these higher priced
stocks that are optionable ? There are as many
ways to get leverage as there are ways to skin...
a cat.
