You HAVE to figure on a HUGH reverse split. With 350B(billion) shares outstanding, the price can never move up. Keep in mind that Microsoft has 9.38B shares outstanding, just as a point of perspective. IF there is, let's say, a 10,000 to one reverse split, it leaves 35 M(million) shares outstanding......That is a number that could move...........maybe. Then every 10,000 shares you own equals 1 post-reverse split share. I haven't heard of anyone buying less than 50K shares, most seem to have bought in blocks of 1M, so few will be reverse-split into nothing.
IF, I understand correctly, and I think I do, post-split fractional shareholders will be paid cash (unless the total value of their holdings is less than .5 cents). THAT means that IF Cinemax buys TMM, they must put a price on the post-merger(post-purchase?) stock. At least it's a basis for future sales and/or a tax write-off. As it stands now, as long as the stock is still listed and may or may not be traiding, only a tax accountant can tell you how to recover a tax loss.

Don't bait the bear........
