well, even if you take the longs at their word that EDIG is involved with the Ittiam player, it isn't that surprising that it doesn't show up. I doubt they would ever claim it since it does not use MicrOS.

It would be kind of tough to hype the stock in the future if EDIG admitted they don't even use their patented MicrOS in their own products, don't you think? How would you ever convince the poor folks you need to sell millions of shares to that anyone else needs your patented technology after you don't even use it?
