Nebulae, I think there may be some confusion in your last post. Torvec's transmission technology is an IVT, not a CVT, (infinitely variable vs continuously variable transmission). Typically CVT's depend on an internal drive belt (unreliable); Torvec's IVT(s) are superior and utilize hydraulic pumps & motors with gear sets (no belts) for high torque applications. Read up on IVT technology on the Torvec web-site or the preamble on this I-hub for TOVC web-page. Other posters here, such as Artguy have a better techhnical understanding of the IVT than I do, maybe they will contribute.
