I did some research on the generic sevoflurane for SOUT today.

Basically: Sevoflurane, Isoflurane, and Enflurane are the leading brand name anesthetic's

Southridge Technology Group, Inc. has a subsidary, RxElite, which currently markets three anesthetic gases in the US in partnership with Minrad: Sevoflurane, Isoflurane, and Enflurane.

Southridge Technology Group, Inc. subsidary RxElite. RxElite has exclusive rights from Minrad International (Amex: BUF - News) to market generic Sevoflurane in the United States.

---------------------------------------------------------
Isoflurane is still on the anesthetic carts, but is rarely if ever used.

Sevoflurane is the highly popular anesthetic. It readily releases from human tissue.

Desflurane was the other most commonly used.

I did not get any discusssion on Enflurane presently.

So bottom line is that SOUT will be a one product company overall (for now). It is highly possible with the correct marketing that Sojourn(TM), generic version of Sevoflurane will be highly successful. If the operating clinics/hospitals take on trial vials and the doctors find excellent results. Then the generic version will be the new anesthetic of choice, at least for now.

opinion:
Risk! One bad batch distributed could kill SOUT without another product line for revenue. Maybe high payoff coming into the 3rd/4th quarter 2007 for company and investors.
