An interesting quote from their website regarding oil shale:

"The potential yield per surface acre is enormous, with portions of the basin yielding more than 2.5 million barrels per acre (Smith, 1980; Donnell, 1987). This is well beyond the real concentration of any known oil reserve."

This was referring to a certain property but it goes to show the enormous potential and the fact that Keiths mention of 3 billion barrels "could" potentially be contained on the Hemi leases.
