There's a "male disease" called Prostate Cancer that the FDA doesn't give a **** about. The FDA's Advisory Panel discussed a new therapy, Provenge, voted positively to its excellent survival data (13-4) with barely no side effects (17-0 vote) but the crooked FDA elected to wait 2-4 more years for additional efficacy data instead of going with a conditional approval. Having 50% of the float short and allowing doctors with serious (and partially disclosed) COIs to manipulate the FDA's decision process had to do "something" with Provenge's wrong decision.

So it is not about gender, it is ALL ABOUT $$$$$.
