Nonsense. Tfigs has shown this ain't true. Pschycologically it may seem obvious to us of course that a 5 cent move will be easier...
BTW If AAPL DROPPED $10 those 5 cent options would be worthless, while the $2's would be trading at around half their value.
Looking at the Sept options, ALL the strikes above 160 actually fell in value, that's what rapidly shrinking IV does to way OTM options.
