I don't think the issue is on the selling side. IMO a
working 1 MB K8 device takes the production capacity
that would otherwise be capable of manufacturing about
3 working K7s. Even the 512 KB A64 displaces >2 K7s.

Still, 6M in a year seems like an inexplicably slow
ramp. I wouldn't put much weight on this annecdote.
