kpf, given what we've seen from UMC and TSM over the past few years, I'd expect their 90nm SOI will come on line concurrently with AMD, IBM and Intel's 65nm technology. As usual, those foundries will mainly produce memory products.

Remember, AMD, IBM and Intel have 90nm coming up this year. This is the first peep we heard about UMC and TSM - and we know that SOI is not trivial.
